I know I've been telling you all about this one for years now but finally, here is a quick tutorial on how to create this wonderful pendant hook!  It's designed so that you can wear your gorgeous wire wrapped and wire weaved pendants on a strand of beads if you choose!  Make these in copper, sterling and even gold fill and you'll be able to wear every pendant you've made or purchased with any of your favorite bead / necklace strands!  Enjoy!
Start with 20, 18 or 16 gauge, round, dead soft wire.

Cut 3 inches

Use a dowel and bend the wire in half, creating a small, attractive curve, suitable for your pendant bale.

Hammer the curve to harden it and flare the wire for good looks ;)

Bend the U shaped wire in half again, bringing the ends down, opposite the curved face. 

The bend should leave 1/2 inch or less to hang the pendant from.

Cut the ends neatly away.

Insert your pendant through a cut end, then hand the adapter onto your favorite strand of beads and enjoy them all together!

For Ammonite pairs that are 1/2 inch, I like to use 24 gauge, dead soft copper wires, but if the Ammonites that are larger (like pendant size), then you can also use the slightly larger 22 gauge and/or mix 22 and 20 gauge for texture!

Start these beautiful earrings with your favorite beads and 1.5 to 2 inches of double coil depending on the size of your beads.  There are 2 versions of earrings in this file. One for beaded earrings, the second for coiled and unbeaded earrings.  At the end of this tutorial are also instructions for making your own earring hooks.

It's 1.36 minutes long and shows the basic way to make a single wire coil, then the double coil.  I show both hand and drill methods.  The drill is much easier if you are building several Coil beads to use in fun projects such as my earrings and free bracelet tutorials here on this blog.  It's much faster than hand coiling and when I get my drill out to coil, I create many of them to use in future projects.  Enjoy!!
