Supplies: All wire is Round, Dead Soft
One, 8 inch length of 16 gauge frame wire
One, 8 inch length of 20 gauge bail wire
Spool of 30 gauge tree wire (for the tree body)
5 feet of 28 gauge beading wire (for the canopy)
Several gemstone chips or beads of choice approx 3mm
… We are creating the purple Amethyst tree in this tutorial ...
Tools:
Wire cutters
Round nose pliers
Flat or Needle nose pliers
Nylon Jaw pliers (optional)
Dowel, 1.5 x 1.5 inches diameter
(Household items work too)
… I am using a 1.5 inch PVC pipe fitting...
Dowel, 8 to 10mm diameter
(Pencils are a good bail size)
